"My Treasure"

There is something quite magical about painting until two in the morning, then you suddenly wake up the next day and wonder if it was all a dream.

Thankfully, it was not!

I finally finished my wedding gift just in time for the event.

This piece features newlyweds Nazha, as the Hindu Princess Bride,
 and Anton, her Russian Prince.

The amount of detail on the Bride's saree was very fun to paint. I will definitely be making more Hindu Bride pieces in the future.

Rubies, Emeralds, Gold and Pearls.
Oh, and a Prince, too.

What more could a bride ask for?

After finishing Nazha's dress, I was ready to tackle something a bit less complicated.

Yet, for all it's simplicity, the prince looks very regal in silk, wolf fur and pearls!

Congratulations to the Bride and Groom!

A wip of a wedding gift for my artist friend, Nazha. She will be getting married this week, so I'm super excited to finish this piece in time for the event.

The idea behind this was to create a Hindu princess (Nazha, the Bride), marrying a Russian prince (Anton, the Groom).

A blending of two different cultures as a symbol of their unity.

Sneak Peek!

I will be collaborating with the Striped Fig, an online clothing store for "littles" with a touch of whimsy. Some of my prints will be featured on the site as well. New updates will be coming this month, so stay tuned for our creative explosion!
